Bob McGregor

Born and raised in south Winnipeg, Bob Macgregor has been involved with hockey for over 25 years and has a very strong passion for the game.  Bob is currently in his 3rd year of coaching in the MMJHL with the Fort Garry Fort Rouge Twins and 6th year as head instructor with the Max Hockey School.

During Bob's amateur playing career, he enjoyed many individual and team accomplishments.  Bob had a proud 4 years with the MMJHL Twins culminating with winning back to back MMJHL championships and back to back Chris Flintoft Memorial Trophy’s as the playoff’s most valuable player.  Bob went on to play a season with the Manitoba Bison’s in the CIAU and finished his playing career with the Altona Maroons in the SEMHL.

Since the end of his playing career, Bob has concentrated on the development of young hockey players in Winnipeg.  Bob has experience coaching a variety of age groups ranging from 9 to 21.  In 08/09, Bob and his coaching staff were awarded the Nick Hill coaches of the year award by their peers in the MMJHL.

Bob has ample teaching experience with other hockey schools in the city including Edge of Excellence and Iroman Hockey School, and has been a program coordinator and head on ice instructor with the Max Hockey School for the past six years.
